We haven’t forgotten what happened on this day 20 years ago
Songs that matter to you (or not) — Darryl Worley — Have you forgotten?
The song, enjoy 😉
America under attack
20 years ago, on the 11th September 2001, the entire world shocked, watched how America was under attack.
That day, by 4 airliners, which were used as projectiles, bombed strategic or symbolic targets by Al-Qaeda under the skilful leadership of Osama Bin Laden according to the then sitting Bush administration.
9/11 Truth movement
Organizations and individuals questioned whether the United States government, agencies of the United States, or individuals within such agencies handled or purposefully complicit in the September 11 attacks.
Some of the questions:
How is it possible that four hijacked planes were not intercepted by the US Air Force?
Why was President Bush not immediately removed from Florida elementary school by the Secret Service after it became clear that his country was under attack?
Why did WTC building 7 collapse in the late afternoon while it did not take serious damage during the dramatic events?
I don’t know if they have answers to all of their questions 20 years later, only I know that almost 3000 people lost their lives.
In honor and remembrance.
Feeling a bit like the singer Alan Jackson… I’m not a real political man
I watch CNN, but I’m not sure I can tell you, just a lover of songs.
Where were you when the world stopped turnin’
That September day?
Teachin’ a class full of innocent children
Or drivin’ down some cold interstate?
Did you feel guilty ’cause you’re a survivor?
In a crowded room did you feel alone?
Did you call up your mother and tell her you love her?
Did you dust off that Bible at home?Did you open your eyes and hope it never happened
Close your eyes and not go to sleep?
Did you notice the sunset for the first time in ages
And speak to some stranger on the street?
Did you lay down at night and think of tomorrow
Alan Jackson — Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning
Let us remember and honor all of those who lost their lives on that September day.
All the best,
