Step 5 Part 2

No matter what you’re writing about, if your reader can’t connect, then it doesn’t matter how well written or researched it is — your blog will fail as a source of information.

So, how do we connect?

1. Via your website

When someone visits your website, you need to have the possibility to share your content or connect with you on the different social media platforms you and they are part of.

If you have a WordPress website, there are plenty of social sharing plugins available.

Those sharing buttons can be on any page, but should be always on your blog posts with you asking at the end of your writing to share.

Make connections possible for your audience on your “About” or “Contact” page.

Some plugins use a pop up to ask for a share or connect, personally I don’t like that, but use whatever you like and test what works best for your website.

2. Via an automation tool

Using an all-in-one social marketing platform that turns your content into engaging social media posts.

Sharing them on your preferred social media channels on autopilot.

Normally, once you have created a blog post, you will share it with your social media channel once, giving you an initial boost in traffic, and then it gets forgotten about, and your traffic dips back down…
